No particular highlights stood out .

Room was small with a malfunctioning TV remote, missing battery cover. Heating issue made the space uncomfortable, and the bathroom situation was worse-shower cubicle lacked a curtain, turning it into a slippery wet room. Noise levels were unacceptable, with thin walls allowing me to hear everything from the neighbouring rooms. Bed was uncomfortable with lumpy cushions, and the overall smell from the bathroom forced me to hold my breath. No trash bin in room added to the discomfort.

The location couldn't be better, just a short walk to the Eurotunnel and surrounded by lively restaurants. The room was clean and the beds comfy, which I really appreciated after a long journey. The receptionist was nice, remembered me from my last visit. I faced a few hiccups. The bathroom lacked proper amenities like soap, and I noticed no towels provided in the room. I didn't have hot water during my morning shower, a letdown. Despite these issues, it was a decent spot for a night stay.

The Family Room was clean and the beds super comfy. Plus, the receptionist was really nice, even remembered me from my last visit! The location is perfect for getting around Calais and close to the ferry terminal. Just a heads-up, it can be a bit noisy at night because of street sounds.
